The crescent and star on the Turkish flag symbolize Islamic culture, and the red represents the blood shed for independence. The country officially changed its name from "Turkey" to "Tรผrkiye" in 2022.
Istanbul is the only city spanning Europe and Asia. Tรผrkiye boasts many world-renowned tourist attractions such as hot air balloons in Cappadocia, the white travertines of Pamukkale, and the ancient ruins of Ephesus. K-culture is also very popular, and there's a great deal of interest in Korean culture.
